Training Week Five Video: Self-development, Steps Five - Eight (Audio)
After 50+ years researching human development and the spiritual realm, Dr. Gil Gockley wrote a 389-page Training Manual, Self-knowledge, Spiritual Knowledge, Living Knowledge. Welcome to Dr. Gil’s Love-centered Meeting House. I am assuming that most of you have watched the previous eight Videos; are members of a satellite meeting house; have purchased Training Manuals, Self-knowledge, Spiritual Knowledge, Living Knowledge; and, are ready to continue the 60-day Spiritual Retreat!
During the next four weeks, you will continue to follow this FORMAT:
1) watch Dr. Gil’s weekly Training Video;
2) engage in a week-long SELF-STUDY by completing the weekly assignments (a few pages every day) and meditating daily; and then,
3) participate in DISCUSSION TIME when you meet with your satellite meeting house members for 1.0 to 2.5 hours. That’s it!
Training Video Five presents innovative, self-enhancing activities that strengthen your inner Self (Step Two) with goodness. These four steps develop and strengthen your inner Self. This inner process is an extraordinary life mission. These self-discovery steps fill your inner life with an essence that is worthy; and, underserving of being lost. Step Five, using the Enneagram, guides you in discovering your unique personality (nine basic types of people). You will identify both your healthy and unhealthy character traits. You usually act upon your healthy character traits when you are emotionally healthy. Step Six identifies 14 ValueSkills®, common, universally-accepted values, such as kindness, patience, and friendliness, that can be taught as skills. ValueSkills® put The Golden Rule into action. Step Seven is a very special self-discovery activity that challenges you to identify and repeat 21 self-affirmations – the blueprint for the future you, two-times-a-day for 21 days. Step Eight has nine unique and life-enhancing activities such as Choosing a Life Board of Directors; Your Life Purpose; and, 50 Life Appreciations.
