The first four most basic needs of my 35 Human Needs relate directly to Physical Wellness: personal safety; being free of emotional and physical pain and disease and the need for appropriate and complete medical care; need for water, food, clothing, and shelter; and, clean air and clean water. Physical Wellness champions both conventional and integrative medical practices. It calls for you to assume responsibility for your physical wellness and to be part of the solutions for all the physical issues you face. Physical Wellness calls for the prevention and cure of physical illness and disease. Look carefully at the Physical Wellness Checklist. This checklist projects the hope for our future! These common-sense ideas are the foundation for health care today and tomorrow. Step Ten addresses cutting edge medical ideas that Gil and Tanya have used for 20+ years: whole food diet; vitamin, mineral, and other supplements; an Alkaline Water filter and a good air purifier; the Thermal Life Poplar Far Infrared Sauna; and, Lumen Photon Therapy – a small heating pad with small red diodes that emit far infrared light for relieving pain and inflammation.Copyright Gilbert C. The only thing that takes away from rational and open discussions is dark, negative, judgmental religious/political rhetoric! Through daily readings and thinking about the 26 authentic spiritual messages and parables of Jesus, you will feel inner hope and get an inner sense of what it feels like to be a follower of Jesus.

Training Video Two presents Step Three, learning how to appropriately deal with feelings. Option One is when individuals Flow with it – let the comment go, forgive the person, and move on. Option Two is to Face it – express a feeling (I’m feeling uncomfortable.); or express a feeling and a thought (When you called me stupid, I felt angry.); or express a feeling, a thought, and tell the person what you need (When you called me an idiot in front of my friends, I felt embarrassed. I need us to stop name-calling!). Step Four presents meditation and contemplation. When you meditate, you sit in silence and eventually connect with the Spirit within. Contemplation is having a conversation with your inner Self in the presence of God.

Training Video One presents Step One, getting in touch with your feelings, and Step Two, connecting with your inner self – with your positive inner voice. The moment you identify your feelings to your inner self before you say or do anything (Step One), you are connected with your inner self, with the real you (Step Two).

During the next eight weeks, you will follow this FORMAT:i) watch Dr. Gil’s weekly Training Videoii) engage in a week-long SELF-STUDY by completing the weekly assignments (a few pages every day) and meditating daily.iii) participate in DISCUSSION TIME when you meet with your satellite meeting house members for 1.0 to 2.5 hours. That’s it!
Training Video One presents Step One, getting in touch with your feelings, and Step Two, connecting with your inner self – with your positive inner voice. The moment you identify your feelings to your inner self before you say or do anything (Step One), you are connected with your inner self, with the real you (Step Two).

About Gil Gockley
Dr. Gil Gockley is a loving, dedicated husband, married to his best friend Tanya for 50+ years. They have three marvelous sons, three warm and caring daughters-in-law, five delightful grandchildren, and three beautiful great grandchildren. Family is priority #1!
His education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomsburg University in 1966 where he majored in elementary education and psychology. He held many elected positions including President of the Student Community Organization.
